Hello everyone! I just wanted to inform all my friends here that I'm home, and doing alright. Better than how I was yesterday. Despite not being able to talk very well, and eating only liquid type foods, and having a bit of a hard time swallowing, I'm doing fine. I was going to update yesterday when I got home, but found out I was a little bit too tired. I fell asleep while trying to watch a movie last night around 8. lol. There's only a little bit of pain, and that's only when I swallow. Basically just on the left side, since I had two teeth taken out on that side. Hopefully by Sunday the swelling will be almost completely gone, so I can get out of the house and hang out with my friends at the fair.
That's about it, really. Thank you for everyone who was thinking about me yesterday, I appreciate it. I'm doing fine, and will be all back to normal in a couple of days. :D

The car drive was super exciting. No, not really. I stared out the window and listened to My Chemical Romance.
Anyway, I wasn't exactly nervous until we parked the car in front of the hospital. Course, I had no idea if I was getting my surgery then, or later on. Mom and Dad like to tell me little white lies sometimes (apparently so I won't be so scared or something before). Luckily it was just a check up and the doctor (forgot his name at the moment) told me the procedure he was going to do for my teeth, etc, etc. My surgery won't be until September 11th, which, actually, if you think about it, is rather close.
Course, I'm not nervous right now, but as the day comes closer, I sure will be. I'm going to be put under carefully (there was a crapload of a long list that he said of how I was going to be put under, and STAY under, till it's over) and it would only take about 30 minutes. I've never been put under, from what I can remember anyway, so that's kinda scary for me, but my friend Caleb said it's just like falling asleep. I just hope (and believe) that the surgery will go over fine. I'll be all loopy after it, the doctor said, so once I get home I'm not to be left alone, otherwise I might hurt myself or something. :-/. Luckily I don't have school the next day after that. Heh. So I can stay home and rest. Hopefully it won't hurt too much. Not looking forward to that, actually. Just wanted to let those of you who read this know about my wee little surgery. It'll be an interesting experience, I s'pose.
Anyway, I'm not doing much at the moment. Just sittin' here, glad it's the weekend. I'm going to be babysitting my friend today (she's only 9) so that'll be at least fun. and I get my internet back on my home computer. Woo! Mabinogi, here I come! Mabinogi is a MMORPG (like I know what that stands for. I just copied it cuz that's what the ALL KNOWING INTERNET told me. Yeah, that's right.) It's kind of like Runescape, only with much much much much much much better graphics, storyline, etc. It's great fun. Your character can age (mine's 19 at the moment) and you can become a Paladin, or anything else. I've met some great friends on there, and it's kinda sucked not being able to play it for a couple days. But, first, I must finish homework (sigh) and then we'll see what happens from there.

So, my brother leaves for Mexico today, at 7 pm Central time. Exciting, I know! It's really humid and hot here in this lovely state of Iowa at the moment, and he just got done finished mowing the lawn - and quickly passed out onto the couch. Mom and Dad are commenting about how he'll survive down in Mexico. Makes me go lol. He'll be gone for 10 days total, and 4 of them will be spent building a house down there for some family. I think it's pretty cool. He's going with the Everly Lutheran youth group - not even our church - but there was a space for another person on their trip and they asked if Chris wanted to come. They'll be staying in Arkansas for the night, and go back down to Mexico during the day.
After Chris gets back from his trip - we'll all be going to Minneapolis with some of my parent's friends for some unknown reason. I'm just glad we're going somewhere this summer. True, Minneapolis is nothing like Germany, or Colorado, but it'll be fun nonetheless. It hasn't exactly been boring here - it's just been odd that we haven't exactly gone anywhere this summer, considering we go somewhere almost every summer (Germany - last summer, Colorado - two years ago, etc etc). I'm not sure what we're doing in Minneapolis, but that's fine with me. And than after that is dreaded SCHOOL! Good Lord, I don't even want to remotely think about that. We start way too early this year - August 20th! We started the 26th last year. Oh well.
On a completely different note - I met another Erika! ...I know! True, I had a best friend that was named Erica - but still, it's really cool to finally meet someone with the same name as me. I friended her just for the fun of it. ;-)
A close friend of mine (Nica) is going to be singing at some random fair in Le Mars tomorrow, and if she wins - or if they (don't know who they are) like her, she'll get a one way ticket to an audition in American Idol. I think it's rather cool, the only thing is that I can't go and see her - I'll be working tomorrow. Damn you, job! lol. Oh well, her mom will be recording it, thankfully. I actually learned by accident that she is singing tomorrow - I called her to see if I could come over - and she told me. I wonder if she would have told me if I hadn't called her. (Which, I think she would have, but, ya never know!) I'm a horrible friend, lol. I must keep these bitter thoughts away! I've been rather bitter towards a once friend of mine - who I know dislikes me - and for some reason I find it rather amusing. Ah, make the thoughts go away! I have a tendency to make a good nice post become angry, and bitter. Huh.

OMG! Just remembered that today is Friday, and that Doctor Who is on! EEEEE! *commences squeeing* All of the Doctor's companions are going to be in this episode - I think. Although, the sad thing is that this episode tonight is the first part of the season finale. I'm just glad that after Doctor Who is gone, we'll have Eureka to watch. Love that show too! I'm a total Sci Fi geek. :D Ok, I'm leaving now. Really.

So, on May 30th, I got a new car. I think it's rather cool, but it hasn't actually sunk it quite yet that the car is MINE MINE. It's a 2009 Toyotal Corolla, and it's silver. Not originally my first choice of colors, but it's not like I really cared at the moment. I've been driving it around everywhere, and it's been great fun. I also started working at the local nursing home, about a month ago. I love getting my checks. LOL. That's about it, really. Exciting, I know.
Oh. I also didn't get to sleep until 1 a.m. because this plotbunny wouldn't go away. I actually managed to write a one-shot little Tony/Pepper fanfic. I'm quite excited to post it and see what everyone thinks of it. Whee for Tony/Pepper love!
